Dreamcast

The Dreamcast was Sega’s last foray into the video game console industry. Released in 1999, it barely had a chance before Sony crushed it with the PlayStation 2. C’est la vie, the rest is history. 10 years later, Sega is strictly a software company. They’ve done the unthinkable by putting Sonic and other Sega characters along side Mario and friends in the same titles. What’s that? Sonic the Hedgehog on a Nintendo console, in the same game as Super Mario? And they aren’t enemies? You’d better believe it. With such radical thinking as that, could we, one day, see a Dreamcast 2? One can only hope.
